Green Bean Almandine
Serves 8
Ingredients
- 4 lbs. green beans, stem end removed
- 1/4 lb. slivered almonds, toasted
- 1/4 lb. butter
- salt and pepper to taste
Steam green beans until al dente, about 2 minutes. Immerse into ice water for 5 minutes. Drain and pat dry. Melt butter in a saute pan, add green beans and almonds. Toss to coat beans and season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve and enjoy.
